- Lacabeza is a design studio based in Costa Rica with 10 years experience in the design area. We specialize in design for the music industry, having designed over 50 covers for Central American bands produced by the record company Papaya Music and independent artists.
Lacabeza's design concepts are characterized by an artistic background and an out of the box concept management. This has made possible for us to collaborate in art related projects from music , Design Universities, NGO's and the inscipient film industry.
Our distintive style has also catched the eye of corporate brands who believe in differenciating themselves through image.
Our work has been showcased in the book : Latin American Design, by Taschen Editorial and it has also been invited to participate in the Iberoamerican Design Biennal in Madrid, Spain, 2008, 2010. In the later edition being awarded best of show in the graphic desing area.
